The Bounty!

My friend and I were lucky enough to visit the ship the "Bounty" last summer. I took lots of photos and have some scrapbooking to do. But in the meantime, I bought a 12" frame designed to hold a 12" scrapbook page. So I did this page and framed it for my friend.
I did the journaling using my artist program on the computer, and a scroll design to hold it. Once it was printed out, I used chalk to give it that antique look. The title was cut out with my Cricut. I mounted the photos on two different shades of purple so they would stand out better on the lighter purple main page.

Another page done.
To make this page, I used up some odds and ends of paper to make a 12X12 page and then added the title and the photos, matted. It's a good way to use up leftover bits and pieces of paper, and have a page to work with.

I went to a scrapbooking event yesterday, that went from 9 am to 12 midnight. My friend and I didn’t stay that long, we left before 10 pm. I only got two pages completed as we were taking workshops all day long. One every hour, and not all relating to scrapbooking, but some were about card making too. So I will show you what I did get done.

I attended a Scrap For the Heart Fundraiser for the local branch of The Heart and Stroke Foundation. This is a once a year event to raise money for the Heart and Sroke Foundation. It went from 9 am to midnight. We got there around 9:30 am and left around 11:30 pm. I got 8 pages done this day. I did some of the page organization at home to speed things up. I was hoping to get more done, but am happy with the ones I finished. I added the title to the last page today to complete it. I am working on an album of my newest granddaughter, Charisma Fae. Here are the pages, and thanks for looking. Collapse )
